The Little Things · A Valentine’s Edit
The Little Notes Post Office
A few words, thoughtfully delivered.

In the little February corner of Essy’s, there is room for a note. Something tucked beside a coffee cup, left on a pillow or slipped into a friend’s book with their permission.
Choose an envelope below. You’ll find a starting line and space to add your own words. Your note stays in this browser tab while you make it; we do not send or save what you write. You can download a printable image or use the free PDF cards and write by hand.
Choose an envelope
For someone I love
Starting line: “One little thing I love about our days is…”
Think of an ordinary moment you would miss: how they bring you tea, the expression they make when a song comes on, or the way you can make each other laugh over something nobody else would understand.
Another way in: “I noticed how you…”
For a lovely friend
Starting line: “One thing you make better is…”
Remember a particular day, a conversation or a small kindness. Say what it meant to you. It can be funny, practical or tender; it should sound like something you would actually say to this friend.
Another way in: “I’m still glad we…”
A little note to myself
Starting line: “Something I’d like to make room for is…”
Choose a pleasure, a small plan or a thing you have been postponing. You can write a date beside it, or simply keep the note somewhere you will see it.
Another way in: “I want to remember how much I enjoy…”
Make it yours
Write one specific thing. Add a name if you want to. Sign it with whatever feels natural. A few sincere lines are enough; you can leave some white space on the card.
Use the preview to check your words before downloading. The download is an SVG image you can open in a browser and print. The words stay editable in the form until you leave this page. Use the PDF below if you prefer to write everything by hand.
Free cards to print
The Little Notes collection includes six cards across three A4 pages: three cards with starting lines and three open cards with room for your own message. Print at actual size, cut along the border and fold nothing. They are flat note cards, designed to tuck into a book, a bag or an envelope you already have.

There is no sign-up or payment. The cards are for your personal use; you are welcome to give the finished notes to the people you choose.
A few places to leave one
Beside a breakfast plate. Inside a lunch bag. With the book you are lending. Next to a small bunch of flowers. On your own bedside table, ready for tomorrow.
If you are planning something around the note, The Sunday Valentine, The Little Bistro at Home and Galentine’s for Two all offer easy places to begin.
Or stay a little longer in Hollowpine with The Table by the Window, where a letter has been waiting between the pages of a book.
