Record the destination’s essentials - city, country, season, dates and weather - and describe the atmosphere in five words.
Note your favourite morning café and breakfast, the bakery you returned to and what you ordered, your best café and favourite table, the bookshop you visited and the book you bought, and your favourite market stall along with one ingredient to recreate at home.
Record your morning and evening walking routes and your golden-hour location, your best lunch, best dinner and favourite dessert, and what the city sounded like, smelled like, and which colours defined it.
Finish with what you brought home - one object, one recipe, one book, one memory - a return score (immediately, in another season, someday, or probably not), and one final sentence: “The thing I’ll remember most is…”

Years later, a single sentence about a bakery on a rainy morning may bring an entire journey back to life.
